What exactly is Homelocator?
Homelocator shows the current housing supply with the current market values (at residential level) in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area within desired travel times from a maximum of 2 locations (for example, work and school).
Who developed Homelocator?
Homelocator was developed by Momentum Technologies, Clearstone and the Amsterdam Brokers Association (MVA). IN Amsterdam's MapItOutTool was used as the basis for Homelocator. The map information is developed by Igeolise.
Whom is Homelocator developed for?
Homelocator has been developed for home seekers who are coming to live or work in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area (MRA) and are looking for a suitable home together with a real estate agent. With this tool you can easily see where you can really live based on your desired commuting times and the amount you want to spend on a house.
How does Homelocator work?
Homelocator combines different data to each other, including travel times, current market values and the available housing supply. Through different filters you can quickly gain insight into which homes are available for which price within a certain travel time. It is possible to enter multiple locations and commuting times. For instance, a 30-minute cycle to school as well as a 60-minute drive to work.
Who can access Homelocator?
Homelocator can be used by brokers affiliated with the MVA. By taking out a subscription, a broker has unlimited access to the system.
How do I gain access to Homelocator as a home seeker?
Your MVA broker can give you temporary access to Homelocator via a login code.
